How to restrict incoming SMTP lookup to Domino Directory

Hi, I have a Domino server with Directory Assistance configured.

DA is used only for customers address book. We put clients data with their email addresses there.

Now, when someone send email to my domain (ie user@mydomain.com), the local part of address is searched within Domino Directory and customers address book. So customer1@mydomain.com will be forwarded to customer1@customer-domain.com.

We use aliases so in SMTP config I have “Address lookup” “Fullname then Local Part” - can’t change it for “Fullname only”.

Is there any way I can restrict incoming mails SMTP lookup only to Domino Directory (ignore Directory Assistance with secondary Domino Directories).

Hi, for the record I got this response from IBM when I queries the same problem

Router/SMTP → Advanced → Controls

This only effects how the router does namelookups and not the clients.
