How to request program enhancement features?

Is there an official means to request an enhancement of iNotes? I see a number of forum posts here mentioning requested features, etc… but some of these seem to grow stagnant and eventually drop off the edges of the forum.

My management has decided that iNotes is the way our 2,000+ user base will be heading in the direction of using iNotes “exclusively!” This decision was reached despite recommendations to the contrary… Now that some initial testing is under way by a Pilot group of users they are complaining of “missing” functionality, when in fact the functionality wasn’t necessarily intended in a “client-less” setup. But as a good little administrator… I’ve been instructed to “fix” it. So, if I want to request features in future releases of iNotes, is this the place to do it? And what’s the best way to go about getting a result other than… “use the client!”

Hopefully if you are using iNotes only, then you have a support contract. Call us up and ask about the functionality you are looking for; We may be able to provide an acceptable workaround for you, and if not, we can certainly create the enhancement request, or add an occurrence to it if it already exists.

Hi,

There are two methods that I am aware of that development are best equipped to track.

  1. If you have a support contract you can open a PMR requesting an enhancement request be made. The support engineer will write up the SPR and close the call at that point.

  2. If you don’t have a support contract you can use Idea Jam.
