Is there an easy way to remove or hide BCC from the mail template?

Subject: in short… No.
there doesn’t appear to be a policy setting to show/hide the BCC field, and, unhappily, the BCC field exists in lots of forms (memo, reply, meetings, etc) AND has lots of references (multiple display fields, ‘enter mode’ fields, and the actual field, which is hidden).
looks like a lot of modifications to the mail template for what is a ‘standard’ addressing field.
What’s the motivator to remove/hide it?
