I have doen the following:- removed ALL icons that refer to the old server

  • closed Notes

  • deleted the cache file

  • compacted the desktop database

the old server name still shows up.

???

I’ve the same problem, I think we can avoid. Only I discover if the last edition in a document was with the ancient Server although you remove the cache this document try to connect to the old server.If you try to enter again in this document this don’t try to enter again in the server.

I think the new documents don’t try to connect with the old Server.

Care about the ID Replica, if your code you try to do “Dblookup”, “Dbcolumn” and you put the ID replica and this Database was created by the old server, this Dblookup doesn’t work, it’s better use @subset(@dbname;1):“”.

I’m hopping I can help you or you discover another interesting thing which I haven’t discover yet, please tell me…

Yop,

1)Open your personnal adress book

2)Select the connection view (in the advance section)

3)Remove the server you do not want to appear anylonger

4)Thank me

5)Call my boss and tell him that I deserve a better place lol

I have done all those things… and it still appears…

if that still doesn’t work then you’ve missed an icon on the workspace.

Shut down Lotus Notes.Delete/copy desktop6.ndk from your local data directory

Start Notes.

You have to put back all desktop icons, but all references to old servers are gone.
