Hi.
I have problem. I have document that sholud not be edited by enyone. On form I blocked to switch it in to edit mode.
But when user on view cilcked right mouse button on that document and choose “Edit” then document opens in edit mode. I want to block it. I do not want to let enyone to edit this document on UI, but some users have to have edit access to this document.
Any ideas?

I presume you’ve added some code to QueryModeChange to “prevent” editing. The event only occurs when changing mode from read to edit (and visa versa), so won’t fire with a Ctrl-E pressed from the view. You will also need to add some code to the PostOpen event to test if it is being opened in edit mode and switch status accordingly.
However this is not security, users can still change the values in documents via agents etc. The only effective way to prevent users from making changes is to use Notes native security features. i.e. Add an Authors field and ensure the ACL is set accordingly!

I thought about this too and i will do it that way.
I have readers and authors fields, becouse some users will change this document in background, but no on UI.

Have you tried SaveOptions = 0.
They will still be able to ‘edit’ but the changes will never be saved.

Create a section with access restringed to the formula “NONE” (or something similar) and cut and pate all the form text and forms in that section.
