I want to pre-configure the sametime client in Notes 8.5. I know how to do it in 8.02 but that does not work in 8.5. In 8.02 I would add the settings to Notes/framework/rcp/plugin_customization.ini and this is the settings I would add:com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.community/loginAtStartup=true
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.location/showProfWindow=true
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.imhub/alwaysEditStatusMsgInMtg=true
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.chat.logging./logging.default=0
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.chat.logging./logging.service=service.notes
When I do it now nothing is pushed to Notes/data/workplace and nothing is changed in preference - sametime in the notes client. I know that this has to be done before the first start of the client or the notes/data/workspace should be deleted.
Can someone tell me how to pre-configure sametime in Notes 8.5?

I have modified the settings I wanted through policies. This way you can also change setting after the ugrade.
In 8.5 there is a Custom Settings tab added to the Desktop Settings form where you can add notes.ini, locations and Managed Settings.
In Managed Settings I have f.i. added:
Item: showProfWindow
Value: True
Plug-in name: com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.location
Subject: Edit the Plugin_Customization.ini
Hi, in my deployment, I edited the Plugin_Customization.ini in the install directory’s deploy folder. The changes I made were to reflect our Proxy server and Sametime server, but I’m sure other changes can be put there. So when a user is upgraded, those settings get imported.
