How to pass a value from parent to child

I have a parent document containing a button with which I create a child document using@Command([ComposeWithReference]; “”; “childdoc”; 1).

In this child doc I have some fields which I want to give a default value depending on other fields in the parent doc.

This application will run in both environments, the notes-client and the browser.

How can this be done most easiest?
