Hi,
Sound strange, but what i would like to do is send a button in a mail to a user, the button, when clicked, will open a view from a database, print it and then close.
I have the print commands sorted, but its just opening the view…does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Will this work?
@Command ([OpenView]; “view name”)

Thanks for your reply, the view is in another database, on another server, so I dont think this @ command will work here.
I’ll try it tho

If it’s in another db…the @Command will not work.

to open a view in another database:
@Command ( [FileOpenDatabase]; server : database ; viewName ; key ; newinstance ; temporary )
some of these parameters can be omitted as they are optional. See designer help for more info if needed.

How about using…
'open the database
Dim workspace As New NotesUIWorkspace
Call workspace.OpenDatabase _
( “Algiers”, “new\plan”, “All by Category”, _
“Current”, False, False )
'and then using Openview method.

how about…view := “viewname”;
server := @Subset (@DbName ;1);
dbname := “db\filename.nsf”;
look :=@DbColumn(“”;server:dbname ; view ; 1);
this asumes the database is on the same server.
