Can anyone help me find any documentation about how to move ID vault to another server. We are doing 8.5.1 server consolidation and trying to move existing ID vault to the new server. So far searching goggle and this forum have yet to uncover the appropriate documentation for this.

Subject: First add the vault replica to the new Server
Hi.To move the ID vault first, create a vault replica in the new server by following process (do not use the create replica):
In Admin client go to Configuration Tab - Security - ID Vault- Select the vault then on the right hand side click on ID Vault - manage…
On Manage Notes ID vault, select Manage Vault replica servers then add the new server. This create a replica of the Vault on the new server. Also you can see the new server name in the Vault Database- Vault Servers.
After the above process is done you can remove the old server from the Manage Vault dialog box.
Subject: Is the server you are removing the primary vault server?
We currently recommend you to keep your primary vault server around. There is a current issue related to this, which can be tracked with SPR KSAA82P945.
