How to make Signature Field NonEditable

Hi Lotus Gurus,

Is it possible to make signature field non editable by end user to prevent tampering?

Any workaround to accomplish this?

Subject: How to make Signature Field NonEditable

An easy trick is to make a 2nd field that is computed so it is read only.

Put the computed field under the signature field.

Have it retrieve the value from the signature field.

And use Hide-when formulas on both fields so one is seen when the other is hidden.

Subject: That won’t really help with it

it just means the person who creates the email will see it, as it won’t get sent with the email as it isn’t part of the Body.
