How to make embedded views faster?

Hello,

I’m using an embedded view on a form. The view have over one million documents. I use the “Show single category” option, when I embed the view on a form. Now when I open a document, it takes a lot of time till the document is open.

Do you know a way, how to perform that mechanism ?

If you’re using ShowSingleCategory, then the questions are:

  1. How many docs in the category that is displaying? 10? 100? 1k?

  2. Do these docs have reader names fields? If so, does the user have access to the entire category, or only some docs in that category? This is most likely the cause, I would guess.

  • there is a different number of documents under a category, between 20 - 200 documents.

-Yes, the docs have reader fields, but the user have access to the entire category.
