I tried ctrl - break, but many times do not work. I came across kill domino, but don’t know how to install and use it,so far not successful. anyone has any idea? Or what should I do to avoid having to go through such nightmare? the problem is that my database is having around 40000 documents. waiting for refresh, really frustrating. although there are features whereby view update of one database will still allow one to use other database, I sometime still face this problem, especial if I choose to view it to client directly from designer, I cannot stop it but wait endlessly for the review to be done. really appreciate anyone who can help. tqvm.

I tried it before, doesn’t seem to work. was it just simple installation, and just click this file whenever wanted? can I start notes back without having to restart windows everytime?

I downloaded from 411 website, whenever I try to click the exe file, it gives me “failed to initialised”, from your post, I need to kill it from the server? Oh, I am current using only client, anyway to just kill client, either domino or notes client, when it just take too long to refresh?
