I want to have access to my Yahoo mailfile from my lotus notes?Is that possible?

Yes, you certainly can. I pull down my POP3 mail from various different accounts into a single mail file.
You can either create account documents in your Personal Address Book manually, or you can run the Lotus Notes Client Configuration Wizard, and choose Internet mail servers.
You will need to know the incoming server name for your Yahoo account.
