How to install DECS on Linux

Hi,

I would like to know how to install DESC on a Linux machine.

I did the installation of my server and all works well. However if I try to start the DESC-task i get the following error on the console:

“DECS: DECS Server Extension Manager library is not being initialized. Make sure the DECS Server is properly installed and the line ‘EXTMGR_ADDINS=decsext’ is in the NOTES.INI file”

If I go thgrough the install process again there is nowhere a possibility to add DESC.

(like it is if you install on Windows)

Am I missing something ??

How can DESC be installed on Linux ?

Thanks for any help.

Bye

DECS is asked to be installed when you configure the server using IBM’s java thingy. I am betting you don’t have the lib which is needed for the notes.ini.

The install on Linux is as similar as windows when you get to the java thingy for configuring the server.

HTH Cheers. Email me (in my profile) if you are stuck still.
