Hi, the forum is saying that you can insert a subform from a different database in the same server however in my case i can only select the following options in the insert subform dialog box:- Current database
User’s address book
User’s subscriptions
User’s bookmarks
is there some settings that i need to update to be able to select other databases in the server? thank you

In design mode, copy the subform from the source database to the target database.In the target database, ensure you tick the box in the subform properties to ‘inherit design’ from the source database.
(You may need to mark the source db properties to say that it is a design template first)… Can’t remember - it’s been a while!

Thanks man, i’ll try this out, i believe there are problems migrating forms that use the subform, on different environments like dev and prod. May i ask if you have known a new way on embedding a common element from a central database, thanks much for answer anyway
