How to identify NSF database type

I am using Lotus C++ API in VS 2005 with Notes 8.5. I wanted to identify the database type-like is it Standard,Journel etc. There is a function Db.GetType()…but it is doesn’t return the database type.Do anyone knows some way for database classification.

I tried with that also…i created some databases of type journal and standard. For all those the output of get type was 68281

Subject: not db.gettype, use th property db.type

have you tried db.type?It returns an integer
