Is there any way to give reminder untill the task is finished .
I have a application in which I enterd some date suppose Todays Date and submit to an approver .
approver didn’t take any action on that day when tomorrow he comes and open his account a reminder will flashes on his screen that this task is still pending with him.
this message will flash upto when the task is not completed . when the task completed it will automatically stopped .
this is a completely web based application . on the basis of date when filled date is crossed the reminder will come .
Step 1 : Write an agent and run it on Web Query Open of the $$Template form …the db must be having one in the opening default frame.
Step 2 : In the agent check if the doc status is open …if open check date time diffence , and using datetime difference method ,validate time difference.
In the agent you should be able to access the users pending docs thru a handle …
Step 3: if open , prompt msg box , thru script …stating that task is open …
