I depends on what you want to do with the data.If you want to store the in the other database, the you can do that bu Lotus Script or Formula @DBLookup…

If you only want to display a view in database A from database B, then you can use a framework to point to that view, or embedded view in a form/page.

You are not able to combine data from two different databases in one view.

Hi,

You can get the field values of one database(say DB1) from another database(DB2) by just getting database path of the first database(DB1).

You need to maintain a system configuration document where you will have the database path of all the related databases.you can either have it as a normal document or as a profile document.

You can access forms ,views, etc of one database from another database by just using that particular database full path.

if u can explain ur case in detail then we will be able to help you with the code.

Like Mo said it depends on what you want to do. If you just want to look at the data and link to it you can create a view in DB1 and then look it up like so:

REM {This field must be passed thru HTML inorder to work};

columns:=“<tr style=background-image:url(/Homepage.nsf/bar.jpg?OpenImageResource); background-repeat: repeat-x;>Serial No.Subject”;

count:=@Elements(@DbColumn(“”;“”:“documents.nsf”;“(Homepage)”;2))/2;

lkup:=@Subset(@DbColumn(“”;“”:“documents.nsf”;“(Homepage)”;2);count);

@If(@IsError(lkup)|@Elements(lkup)=0;“

”+columns+“”;“
