How to find duplicate replicas on the one server?

I often have met with problems caused by duplicate replicas on the same server. Is there any tool which is able to find these duplicity? I hope for something like “Databases by Replica ID” at Administration Client > Files > Cluster Directory (https://www.abclinuxu.cz/images/screenshots/5/3/102535-store-for-snapshots-54061.png)

Subject: catalog and console

You can use the By Replica ID view in catalog.nsf or the SHOW DIR command on the server console:

  1. console - nice solution ;?)2) catalog - it needs a small correction. View Databases > by Replica ID shows only a part of databases (look at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/domhelp/v8r0/topic/com.ibm.help.domino.admin85.doc/DOC/H_MANAGING_THE_DATABASE_CATALOG_OVERVIEW.html). But catalog.nsf contains hidden view ($ReplicaID) which contains all server databases.

Thanks a lot ;?)

Subject: catalog.nsf?

if you maintain a catalog.nsf database, you could use the “databases - By Replica ID” view

Subject: From Domino Console issue “show dir” command

any database with more than one replica will show # of replicas on right hand side…

“show dir >dir.log” will pipe output to dir.log in the program directory I believe…

Using pathname in catalog.nsf you should be able to find replica id in catalog.nsf and then sort by replica id… Unfortunately databases that don’t have “List in database catalog” checked

will not display in catalog.nsf… (They are there but hidden) See Art Thomas presentation at Lotusphere this year on how to create your own view to see everything. He actually speaks to the issue you are having in his Top 10 Admin Tips)

If the server in question is in a cluster, you can do the same thing in cldbdir.nsf which does show all databases…
