Hi,
I want to route all mail via smtp. When i done the changes in configuration setting - router/smtp - basic - SMTP allowed within the local internet domain: enabled for all messages it gives the error “No messages transferred to host via SMTP: The remote server is not a known TCP/IP host. in domino”
Please suggest.

on the Basics tab of your server docs there’s a field called Routing Tasks. “Mail Routing” is selected by default, I believe. You’d likely need to add “SMTP Mail Routing”. Just a guess and maybe only a piece of the problem.

Do you have internal DNS configured correctly to resolve the destination host names?
