How to disable "Web-bugs" in mails?

Hi,

I’ve a question conderning “web-bugs” in incomming internet mail.

For your information: web-bugs are small pictures in e-mails, which are loaded from an internet-site into the opened mail. In this case the sender can collect some information about plattform, mail-client…

Is it possible to dissallow loading e.g. pictures from the internet in e-mails?

You can’t do that without disabling everything that has a src or an href attribute, but simply setting your proxy (in your location doc) to an invalid value will keep anything downloadable from downloading.

thanks for your answer.I’ve feared that this ist the only “solution”. It would be a nice feature of Notes to control the downloads.
