Plz helpon form there are many fields but i want disable one field or u can say that one particular field should switch to read mode but all remaining fields should be in edit mode

You can do this in one of two waysIn the HTML Attributes property of the field you can add “Disabled”
Or you can use javascript to toggle between disabled and normal

There are variuos ways to do this but you need to specify followings
1> Are you developing web based application or Notes Based ?
2> The Disabling of Field is always or based on some other field values / based on user logged in ?
The simplest way can be ( whether application is web based / notes based ) is put computed for display field with formula as original field name and put on both the fields so that any one field will be visible at a time depend on your condition.
