I don’t fully undestand this question, but a category normally shows all documents that fall under that category. The only way to remove the category from the database is to delete all the documents in that category. Or do you mean remove the category column from the view?

I know that by deleting all the documents from category will remove the category but i want to delete the category directly so that automatically all the documents in that category will also get deleted .It should also get deleted from database profile permanantly

it’s kind of a pain. I would just collapse all documents in the view, then open the category you’re interested in deleting, then select all, and deselect the categories you don’t want to delete. then delete what’s left. make sense?
