How to delete corrupted folder?

We have a user who has managed to create a personal folder the name of which ends with a backslash, i.e. Queries. This is not a big issue but if we run a compact on the mail file we get the following error in the console:

IMAP BTree validation error. RRV: 2524C804, Folder: Queries, error: 0227

I’ve tried running fixup and updall commands with various options but without success.

I’ve tried to delete the folder manually but get the error “Invalid or nonexistent document”.

So the question is, how can I delete this folder without the use of a 3rd party tool?

Subject: designer? copy-style-compact?

Did you open the mailfiel in designer and try to rename or delete it from there?

Did you try running a copy-style compact?

Thanks Maria, a copy compact will run without error. However I cannot delete the design element using the designer client as it returns the error “Invalid or nonexistent document”.

Try creating a New Copy because it removes the corrupted docs and then copies only relevant docs.
