How to debug LotusScript agent on the web?

HI,I have LotusScripts agent called by WebQueryOpen, the project is running on the web, does anybody know how to use the LotusScript debug tool to check the Lotusscript codes on the web?

If it is not available, are there any ways to debug the LotusScript on the web?

Thanks

Use the NotesLog class – you can write very detailed information. I usually include a “verbose” switch (variable) in my code for debugging complex script.

You can also try using the ‘messagebox’ to show your variable values on the domino console.

Hi,Rogers and Resty:Thanks a lot for your helps,

I will try the NoteLog to debug the web agent, but using this way, we can only view the log file from the notes log document, we can not step by step to see the execution of the LotusScript codes, is that right?

The Messagebox of LotusScript is not working on the web,and the Print statement can not display on the status bar, can you tell me how to use the “messagebox” on the lotusScript debug on web? Thanks

Messagebox is working – just not the same way as it would on the Notes client. You can find the output in the Notes server log.

This article contains some other debugging suggestions.

Subject: how about the remote debugging feature?

not that I’ve used it myself, I still stick to the old proven ways of doing things as mentioned in the other responses
