Hi, Is it possible in lotus client with a pop3 account, to create an agent/rule
for specific incoming internet mail move to specified folder?
I want to realize this, because of the nonfunctional mail rules on
pop3.
any ideas?

mail rules are server based feature and applied when mail is being delivered, so this has nothing to deal with mail cilent used to retrieve the messages from mail.nsf box

ok. mail rules are server based. but what about rules working on pop3 mail, is this possible? if yes, how?

Not unless you’re running Domino mail. Rules work against Domino’s Router task.

the clients are running domino mail. not locally, but on the server…
email box’s are on the server. clients are setup for external mail with an pop3 account.

Then anyone with a Notes client and sufficient access to the mail databases can create rules the normal way. (Obviously, a POP3 mail client will not have a way to create rules in a Notes mail database.) This may mean that users need to request that a rule be created for them.

ok but how to create a rule for the users?
