This is one of those fundamental questions that I’m not sure where to find the info about…
I’m sure someone can sort me out!
I’m going to be expanding my Domino organization into a new site. I want the ‘other’ administrator to be able to manage his OU, and I’ll manage my OU. So…I’m thinking I will want to have 2-way replication of names.nsf, but I am wondering if I’ll have problems with replication conflicts.
How does one configure replication of the Domino directory throughout the org, and avoid any conflicts? I’ll have the same sort of issue with things like resource reservations - if I give each server a local copy of the db, I don’t want conflicts to occur.

Hi Dan.
If you want your users to have access to both directory trees, yet you and the other administrator each manage your own directories, consider setting up Directory Assistance (check the Administrator guide). DA will allow you to point to the other admin’s directory as well as your own, and from the users’ perspective it will simply look like one congruent directory.

I don’t really want to have two separate directories…I thought that I would be able to split the users into two OUs, and have each admin manage their own OU.
Since this is an ‘integration’ project, I think proposing two directories will be looked at as a step sideways…
