How to code @Command([ViewCollapseAll]) using lotusScript?

Is the above possible?

Mark,The short answer is No. Your question could be better answered if you explained the bigger picture of what you are trying to accomplish.

To do antying with the user interface in lotus script, you need to use a front end class: notesuiview, notesuiworkspace, etc… If you explain to us more about what you are doing, perhaps there is a solution inside a front end class.

Hi Heather,

Thanks for the response. I have a frameset, in the right frame is view with a button which when click, it hides a column of the view, the code uses viewcolumn.IsHidden = True… Then it calls the workspace.viewrebuild to reflect the change in the view, however the view will expand all the documents… In the PostOpen event of the view, I have a code - workspace.ViewRebuild - is there any way to make the view collapse… thanks

Mark,Have you tried using Call notesUIWorkspace.ViewRefresh instead? Does it make a difference? Also, have you selected the “collapse all when database is first opened” check box in view properties for this view? If it still doesn’t work after you have checked these things, you may have to have that button close the database and reopen it to that frameset. Is the view the first view that opens for that frameset?
