We are installing a san and would like to move our notes over to the san. How do you make the server (Domino) aware of the change.

An easy way to handle it would be to connect your Windows server to the SAN space as a new drive letter. Copy your Notes data to the new drive and modify your server ini file to reflect the new data directory path.
Or if you’re already using split drive mappings for program and data directories you could copy your data to the SAN drive and then rename your drives in Windows so that the new SAN drive has the same association as the old drive, so that the data directory on the SAN now has the same overall mapping.
