I have a form on the web with type=hidden multi-value field. Based on that field on opening the form via the web I create a table for viewing the content.
Now in order to change that table content, I plan to open a new window with another form to change some of the values that are stored in the hidden multi-value field in opening.parent document. It seems I have problems in changing the type=hidden mulit-value field. Any ideas how I can best process these changed values? Thanks!

Problems in the sense that when I try to change the hidden field. I tried to work around now by putting an editable field in a display:none div. It seems like the value of the hidden field has not changed after the set (if I view the source of the page it still has no value), but after submitting and reloading the form it shows the correct value. I don’t think a very efficient way of programming (an extra server reload), but I do not see another way of doing this…

If I understand your description, I would suggest the the first form has a field (hidden) defined in Notes. Ensure that the form property ‘Generate HTML for all fields’ is set. Call the second form using a URL call, passing the values in the hidden field as name/value pairs which you can pick up in your second form by using the QUERY_STRING cgi field.
