How to add link for form

I have a few forms in my database. I want the user to be able to add a link in one field to a document in the database. Is there an easy way to do this other than having the user go to the doc and choosing create document link then pasting it into the field?

Sometimes it is worth some extra work by the developer to make it easy for the enduser (sometimes not). There could be several ways to achieve this such as giving the user a picklist and programmatically getting the UNID and bringing it back. It might be copied to the clipboard or accessed in the background with LS.
