How to add a Copyright char to Notes document?

Hi all,

In a Notes document (such as Notes mail doc), how to add a special char Copyright? I tried to copy a Copyright char from MS word 2002 to Notes document, but failed.

Any idea is appreciated for. Thanks.

You want to create a “Special Character.”

Since it looks like you are on Windows, start by using Alt+F1 then typing C, then O.

This is covered in the Notes Client Help, under the heading “Special Characters” or by going here:

Thank you, Gregg Eldred. But there seems a problem to display. I pressed ALT+F1, then r, then o, and finally only a “-” appeared, instead of “®”. How to display it properly?

There are some TechNotes that may help:

I, too, am running R6.5.5 and the characters appear for me.

Above all,

All of you are right. It will be displayed right if proper font is selected.

Thanks for all.

The Font in the field that you are entering it in must actualy have the ® character in it’s character set.

Works OK for me (ND6.5.5 client)
