How Table Row Height can be minimized?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how table Row height can be minimized so that no of rows can be be accomidate in a screen.

In table property default row height shows “0.000”. Thogh it is too big. If I create a Field in a cell, I can make font size upto 8 not less than this.

More over when the document turn into edit mode why the table row height increase automatically.

What is the solution ?

It is possible to make the font size as small as 1 point. Use the text properties box and make sure you select all cells in the row.

If your row is getting bigger in edit mode, then it is probably due to the field delimiters (the square ‘corner’ marks at the edges of the field). You can turn these of by unchecking the option on the second tab of the field properties.

If you do turn them off, you may want to consider making the field OS style, or providing some other visual indicator that there is an editable field.

However, trying to determine how many rows can fit onto a screen is not really possible, as normally you can’t control your user’s screen resolution. Even if your company has a default resolution, you will usually find some users with visual impairment who are running in large fonts.

If your form is too long, try breaking it up into sections, either in a tabbed table or collapsible sections.
