How Prevent users to index db

Hi,How can I Prevent users to index mail db?

We have just 3 GIG available on server and I need to prevent users to index mail db for a short period of time (1-2weeks)

How can I do that?

Note: the users have designer access on theyre email

I think the only way is to change their ACL level to editor.

I thought one could stop w/ other than ACL- but don’t find one. I do know that it is against company policy for one of the large companies I work with- they must enforce it w/ a nightly agent to delete any that get created.

add UPDATE_NO_FULLTEXT=1 to your mail server’s notes.ini or add this in your server’s config doc.
