We’ve migrated a whole suite of applications for a government agency using the following DLL

http://www.dimastr.com/redemption/

There’s examples there of using it from VB which translates easily to lotusscript. The DLL also prevents security warnings from appearing (which happen if you just use COM).

You will need to rewrite any formula into lotusscript that sends mail, as you can’t do it from formula unless you write an extension.

If you are trying to run code in the Outlook client, you will need to do some API programming. I didn’t look at the URL Ben suggested (maybe a good starting place). Neither LotusScript nor @Formulas work in Outlook.

OTOH If you are simply wanting to use Outlook as the e-mail cient and all your work will happen in a browser (and/or Domino), that’s a different question. This would be a common web development environment.

You should be able to do some searches for either approach in this forum.

thanks Doug and Ben, I’m just studying the possibility of email sending via outlook instead of notes, since my company is using outlook as its email features. I am looking at whether it is possible for agent in Domino or via clicking of button, an email with links will be able to send via outlook. I think email is possible, but don’t think links work, unless it is a http link. tq.
