Does some of you know how much free disk space must be available so a Domino server can perform its house keeping tasks? Is it the biggest database plus some megabytes or something else?
I know that copy style compact requires at least the size of the database, but is that necessary if we don’t make copy style compact by schedule. How much does a Fixup require?

I would always have at least twice the size of the biggest database free. Even with that, I’d be concerned about rapidly fragmenting my disk.

Would this space not be in the Domino TEMP directory? In other words, temporary files are not necessarily in the DATA directory and not necessarily on the same drive. Is that not right?

That’s not what I understand happens for copy-style compact, but I could be wrong.

It would look that way if the TEMP dir is on the same physical drive.
