I’ve never run the Load updall command before so I’ve no idea how long its supposed to take. I started it about an hour ago on 7gb mail file and there is nothing in the miscellaneous event logs about it being completed? I specified the -R option if that makes any difference?

Is the task running in the server task??? You will not be informed of the task completing.
command consle commands to show what is running.
Show Tasks
Sh ta
You hopefully run the command Load Updall <database location\databasename> -R because load UPDALL will do the whole server.
Check the tasks to see if it has run.

I did specify the particular mail file. I checked the tasks running and the Load updall appears to have completed. Unfortunately it didnt fix my problem that new unread documents are showing up in the inbox when there isn’t any there. I’ve also tried to replace the mail file design but that didnt have any effect either. Any ideas?

Are you saying that new mail is being delivered to the Db but they are not visible in the INBOX? Are they in the all documents view?
1: Try CRTL > SHIFT > F9
2: Remove the INBOX view from the DB and then refresh the design of the DB.
The above and then let us know if this fixes the issue.
