How I can delete server id password?

Hi, I’m trying to put a script in my Linux server in order to avoid typing the command /opt/lotus/bin/server manually. But always I’m asked to type the server id password. How I can delete that id?

As long as the server ID was registered with a minimum password quality of 0, you can always clear that password. If not, you’ll have to first recertify the ID with that minimum password quality.

If the Linux installation allows the launching of the server’s local client (nlnotes.exe on the physical server box), you can use that client to clear the password the same way an end user would. (File > Security > User Security)

If not (I think that Unix/Linux and Windoze are the only server OSes with a UI that supports launching nlnotes.), you can ftp the server ID over to an admin client, use the Configuration tab’s Tools > Certification > ID Properties command to clear the password, and then ftp it back.

You got it. I recertified the server ID with a password quality of 0 and I could clear the password. Thank you very much, Bruce.
