How I can configure POP3Fido thru Proxy Server

Hello,

I’m trying to get mails from my ISP thru a Proxy Server without success.

The message error is:

RunJava JVM: POP3Fido - (2)Couldn’t connect to POP3 server ‘<ISP_server_name>’: Connect failed; nested exception is: java.net.NoRouteToHostException: A route to the remote host is not available.

I did it in another environment without Proxy and worked fine. How I can configure POP3Fido thru Proxy Server ?

You have to set up individually mapped ports on your proxy server. E.g., port 2000 goes to port 110 of POP3 server A, port 2001 goes to port 110 of POP3 server B. Then configure POP3Fido to connect to your proxy server on port 2000, 2001, etc.
