What happens when the ID file that is stored in an iNotes mail db expires ?
If you store an id file within an iNotes mail database, does it automatically gets recertified when you recertify the user, or is it necessary to attach a new ID file manually ?
The same question for renaming users with ID files stored in their iNotes mail db - if a user is renamed and the ID file is not updated with the new name, would it still be possible to read encrypted mails inside iNotes ?
Thanks

Subject: How do you recertify ID files stored in iNotes mail db
Hi
If you recertify the ID-files with the AdminP process it should work.
From Technote:
After AdminP has processed, the Notes ID stored in the iNotes mail file gets automatically updated with the recertification when the user authenticates with the server.

Authenticates, how ?
Would logging on to a website be enough, or do you have to log on using your iNotes mail database ?
What about renaming users ?
Thanks

Hi
Good questions
-
I’m not sure, but I think they has to login to iNotes.
-
I haven’t tried but I don’t think this would be a problem.
