I cannot change the date format on our Domino Server to DD/MM/YYYY. It currently defaults to MM/DD/YYYY.
I have checked the Regional Settings for the OS (Windows 2000 Server SP4). Location is set to: English(Australia), date format: DD/MM/YYYY.
I have tried adding/modifying the following parameters in notes.ini: DateOrder=DMY, Country_Language=en-AU, Region=en-AU, AltNameLanguage=en, ContentLanguage=en-AU.
There don’t appear to be any regional or date format settings in the Server or Configuration documents for the server accessed via the Administrator client (?). Searching for ‘region’ and ‘date format’ in the Client / Designer / Administration Help yields very little information (aside from a couple of the parameters mentioned above, which are not having any effect). The same goes for the search results on this forum (no useful matches).
I am tearing my hair out, so if you do know how to change the date format / region on a Domino server or you know what is going wrong, please reply.
Subject: How do you change the date format / region on a Domino Server!?
hi, try adding - DateFormat=DD/MM/YYYY in your notes.ini, restart domino server. If it is still the same, check you registry…hkey_users/default/control panel/International/iDate…should be 1.1 is for dd/mm/yyyy

If anyone else still has the problem after this, I found I had to change iDate to “1” whereever it occured in the Registry, not just in the .Default settings
