We have setup an archive mail db in the past for some users who now do not archive but use the archive mail db as there regular mail db. Problem is with notes 8.5.1 the new emails say that it is coming from an archive and certain features are missing such as the Follow-up icon.

I have included a links to Technotes 1166890 - "Mail file displays as archive instead of as a regular mail file " and 1088892 - “How to delete Profile documents manually or using LotusScript”.
Using the steps in the Technotes, you can follow the steps outlined to delete the Archive Profile. I recommend you try this on a Test Database before doing it on a User’s Production Databases.
