When I start the Notes client, I get the error message: ‘An internal error occurred during: “ActivityMonitor”. MessageProcessor is null or has not been started’. The process that moves new mail to my $Inbox folder is not running. I have to use the All Documents view to view new emails. I have tried replacing my mail template, using the server instance, using the failover server instance, creating a new local replica and creating a new bookmarks.nsf. Thanks.

I recently upgraded to Notes “standard” from Notes “basic” and I am getting this same error message now.
What activity is this associated with and can it be disabled ?
