How do I move a Database/Application on the same Server

Hi

I have several Databases I’d like to move to another Directory (same Server)

Is there any way to do this without losing the Links pointing to these Databases or Documents in it?

Why not simply move the databases in the file system? This way no information will be altered.

As an alternative you could create replica of the databases. Do NOT make copies since this would modify the document ID (and hence doclinks would no longer work).

I guess, the links do not depend on the directory path of the databases on the server. They rely only on the Server Hint (i.e. Server name) and the replica ID of the database… either of which would not change if you are moving the dbs across dirs on the same server…
