How do I get started using C++ API

Hi All,I need familiarize myself with the C++ API toolkit used in Lotus,

I have experience in developing applications in Notes using LS and I have also worked a bit on MS Visual C++ 6.

Could any one guide me to a good tutorial / ebook which should get me startated ?
