How do I get rid of 'restore all' button in trash

Have you ever been looking at the trash folder attempting to restore a message and clicked ‘restore all’ on accident?

If you have, then you were probably sad :frowning: It took me another 20 minutes to clean up my Inbox again.

I want to remove that action, but I can’t even find it in the design!??

Any ideas?

Open your Trash folder in Designer, double-click the right edge of the view pane to show the list of actions associated with the folder, then double-click on “Restore All” to bring up the action properties. Remove the check from the “Include in Action Bar” option, and preview the folder in Notes to see if the change is what you’re looking for.

the action can be found in the ($SoftDeletions) view in the mail db.

Thank you VERY much.

I didn’t know that ‘trash’ is now the ($SoftDeletions) view.

you’re welcome!

Note that if your mail database has the property “Use Soft Deletions” turned on, then it uses the $SoftDeletions view. If that property is not turned on, it uses the $Trash folder.
