How do I create a hotspot to a network shared folder

I would like to create a hotspot in an email to something like \server\shared but a normal URL hotspot starts iExplorer and prefixes the url with http://. How can I stop this prefix or is their another way to create the hotspot.

file:///Your/Network/File/Path/

Thanks Craig.Missed your format the first try since I used 3 /// but ‘file://pc/share’ format worked fine.
