How do I control how a Word document opens from the internet or an intranet?Your help is most most appreciated. Can it can be done using lotus script?

As i unstd, u want to open a word doc from web. it is possibale through :

U have to save your word/excel file in lotus config dir “html” folder.

The url would be :

http:///yourWordfilename.doc

Yes I have done like this .It shows the download button and it saved successfully.The problem is client want to disable open option in download window in browser .Thanks for your response

Hello Karthic,

The pop-up which is coming when you open the file in brower, is related to Browser settings…

Try the following settings in IE, I think the popup will not come

Tools–>Internet Options–>Security–>Custom Level–>Down Loads–>Automatic Prompting for downLoads–>Enable should be unchecked.
