How can I write to a txt file?

Hi All,

We are using Domino R6 on AIX. I made an agent which writes some data to a txt file. When I run the agent as a scheduled agent on the server I get the “Object variable not set”.

I tried to debug the error with prints, and the result is that the error is occured on the line:

Open txtfile For Output As fileNum% ,

where txtfile is a string, with value:“/home12/data/something.txt”, fileNum% is defined with fileNum% = Freefile().

First I thought, that the agent cannot create the file. We made it manualy and set up the security to rw-rw-rw-.

The agent is running well on PC, but I need to run it on the server.

Has anybody any idea what is the problem?
