How can I tell if Domino crashed?

With Domino R5, a notes.rip file was produced. How can I verify that Domino crashed in R6.5.1?

You should get an NSD file for a crash in R6.Look in data\IBM TECHNICAL SUPPORT

File name should be something like nsd_all_OS_servername_numbers@numbers.log

I have a sysinfo_servername_2004_07_12@07_25_44.log. Is this a crash log or just info log as the title states? Thanks for the replies.

That is generated when Domino starts, it just collects general system information

Thanks. One of my servers went down over the weekend and I was looking for something to send support and could find a crash log. At this point, I have nothing to go on as to why it went down.

You can go into the IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT folder (Notes\data) of the server. You should find some .log files beginning with NSD_ and including the date the server crashed. Normaly, each time the server crashes, it creates a NSD log file into that folder.
